LiFePO4 batteries are trending now because of its long cycle life, excellent operating performance and wide operating temperature.Lithium Ferro Phosphate is safer compared to Lithium Ion batteries, hence it is gaining popularity in the electric vehicle industry. As the cathode material is Iron it is safer to the environment too. Iron is also available in abundance and not a rare minerals like Cobalt, Nickel, Manganese that are used in NMC Chemistry batteries. The size of lithium ferro phosphate battery also spreads out the heat by itself due to its size and doesn’t heat much quickly compared to Lithium-Ion Battery.
